How 8x Scout Works

Five steps from signing up to getting paid. Scroll through them.

  1. Step 1

    Apply and get approved

    Sign up with your name, email and LinkedIn. The 8x team reviews every application, usually within 24 hours.

  2. Step 2

    Learn the basics

    A short onboarding course and quiz: what 8x sells, which brands fit and how to introduce 8x without overpromising.

  3. Step 3

    Add brands you can reach

    Submit consumer brands you have a real way into. With 10 approved and onboarding done, you become a Scout and your link goes live.

  4. Step 4

    Share your link

    Send your personal link or code to the brand. When they book a meeting with 8x through it, it is credited to you.

  5. Step 5

    Get paid when it closes

    8x runs the meeting and the deal. Commission is created when the deal is won and paid 30 days later.

How Credit Works

Only your link or your code credit a meeting to you. We would rather check than guess, so nobody gets paid for a brand they didn't bring.

The Rules

Do

  • Reach out as yourself, from your own accounts
  • Keep it short: one brand, one reason
  • Ask every brand to book through your link or code

Don't

  • Promise results or quote prices
  • Name other 8x clients
  • Present yourself as 8x staff
